| SHOTGUN TRAINING Every character can use any weapon but without proper training, your weapon will suffer -70% to attack and damage. Learning first rank of any weapon category removes the penalty.
Shotguns are one of the primary weapons in the Mass Effect universe. These weapons typically deal very high damage at close range but at the expense of less accuracy over larger distances.

Rank3 Shotgun Attack: 15% Passive Shotgun Damage: 15% Passive Carnage is an talent used with shotguns to fire a concentrated fireball-like blast from the shotgun, causing it to deal massive amounts of damage to anything it strikes. Using carnage eliminates range penalty. However carnage is considered a projectile and allows projectile counters (such is throw).
