| Overload is tech talent that blasts enemies with tech shock damage, shutting down enemy shields rendering them vulnerable to attacks. Overload deals double damage to shields, but at early stage it has no effect on barriers or health. Advanced training in overload allows user to deal extra damage against synthetics and mechs and stun them for brief time unless they pass fortitude save (Rank4 and Rank5). Overload can be used on explosive containers to make them detonate more violently, dealing 50% more damage than they usually would.
