DOCTOR

Doctor (abbreviated as Dr.) was a title granted to individuals who held an advanced degree in a medical or scientific field. They were generally considered an expert on a specific subject of study. Medical doctors examine, diagnose and treat patients. They can specialize in a number of medical areas, such as pediatrics, anesthesiology or cardiology, or they can work as general practice physicians. Becoming a medical doctor requires earning a doctoral degree in medicine and participating in clinical rotations. It's also common for medical school graduates to enroll in a residency program to study a specialty. Medical doctors need state licensure, and certification may also be required for some specialists. A medical doctor treats and cares for patient's health. The job requires a medical degree and a state license to practice medicine

Medical doctors diagnose patient conditions using examinations and tests. Based on their findings, they prescribe treatment and medications to attempt to heal any illnesses or injuries. General practitioners and pediatricians have a wide range of medical knowledge, and they are often the first types of doctors who patients visit. Most doctors routinely work in teams, with nurses and aides assisting them in well-lit work locations. Doctors may work long and unpredictable hours dictated by the needs of their patients. Additionally, doctors may need to travel amongst various locations, such as offices, hospitals and clinics, in order to provide patient care. Doctors who practice in healthcare organizations or groups have less work independence but may obtain more time off as a result of patient coverage. As needed, medical doctors might refer patients to specialists who focus on specific medical areas, such as anesthesiology, cardiology, psychology and internal medicine. Specialists are experts in their field and complete additional residency training, and become board certified in their specialty.

Evolution A: NURSE
Nursing is a profession within the health care sector focused on the care of individuals, families, and communities so they may attain, maintain, or recover optimal health and quality of life. Nurses may be differentiated from other health care providers by their approach to patient care, training, and scope of practice. Nurses practice in many specialties with differing levels of prescription authority. Many nurses provide care within the ordering scope of physicians, and this traditional role has shaped the public image of nurses as care providers. Any ship who has nurse hired will always have their soldiers and operatives ready for next mission. Nurses develop a plan of care, working collaboratively with physicians, therapists, the patient, the patient's family and other team members, that focuses on treating illness to improve quality of life. Effect: Organic Allies receive +25% health points even if the Doctor is not present on the mission.

Evolution B: XENOLOGIST
The motivations, biological origins, and philosophies of the galaxy's varied species are hugely divergent. An object that is desirable to members of one species could be repugnant to another. Even within a species, the cultures from different systems can have completely different ideological and social practices. Those who have mentally catalogued the different species of the galaxy and learned their distinctive traits are skilled at Xenology. Anyone who must regularly interact with the inhabitants of the galaxy's varied worlds must become adept at Xenology. This is particularly vital for anyone who might need to offer medical treatment to members of varied species, as differences in basic anatomy and biochemistry can make drugs effective in one species lethal to another. Knowledge of the varied cultural traits is also vital for a character who interacts in a social fashion. Xenolog Doctor knows where strengths and weaknesses are, the anatomy of all organic creatures, and those they first time met are analyzed on first sight. Effect: Organic Enemies receive -25% health points as long Doctor is active on the mission with the squad.

Evolution C: MEDIC
A medic was a title held by soldiers that carried medical supplies into a battlefield and tended to wounded soldiers. They were present in many armies. Medic's main role is to keep his/her comrades alive long enough to complete mission. Medic is especially wanted when objective include highly secured targets (bosses) where a fight without a medic can end up quickly and lead to critical mission failure. Medic does not recover target's health only, but also speeds up the recovery of their talent cooldowns. Medic may use 1 Move Action to switch between damage and healing mode. In healing mode all guns used by the medic heal instead of damage. Every time medic heals a target, in any mode, the target has all talent cooldowns finished.
