Sentinels are unique, bringing both tech and biotic abilities to the battlefield. While they lack the focus of adepts and engineers, they are versatile and can handle any situation. Sentinels are equipped with the most advanced ablative armor system to keep themselves safe. This advanced shield causes the sentinel to be like a “Juggernaut” so to speak, making taking cover much less necessary, and rushing your enemies much more productive. This armor system can also be detonated to blast nearby enemies.


SENTINEL CLASS TALENTS

Tech Armor is Sentinel's signature power and can only be learned and improved by Sentinel's class talent points. Sentinel can use either class talent or biotic talent points to learn and improve Lift Grenade talent. Likewise, Sentinel can use either class talent or tech talent points to learn and improve Cryo Blast talent. In which order Sentinel learns its class talents is up to the player.

SENTINEL CLASS EVOLUTION

At level 10, 20, 30, Sentinel can select one of the 3 evolution perks. In which order Sentinel is going to select them is up to the player, but can select only one at the time. You can have 1 evolution perk at level 10, 2 evolution perks at level 20, and 3 evolution perks at level 30. Sentinel's mixed training with tech and biotic talents makes him/her into a perfect versatile role capable of dealing with any situation far easier than other classes could achieve.

MASS TECH ARMOR
Whenever Sentinel's Tech Armor is active, all squad members within 5 squares radius of the Sentinel receive 50% effectiveness of the Sentinel's Tech Armor without the cooldown penalty. Mass Tech Armor does not apply any other Sentinel's class evolution perks.

CHANNELING TECH ARMOR
Whenever Sentinel receives damage while Tech Armor is active, the amount negated via the talent's damage reduction is transformed into shield points that are equally divided and channeled into the nearby squad members, restoring their shields.

THE JUGGERNAUT
Whenever Tech Armor is active, the Sentinel becomes immune to all hostile effects that penalize movement. The Sentinel cannot be thrown, lifted, or knocked down. Additionally the Sentinel is treated as a synthetic creature for the purpose of receiving damage: the Sentinel gains immunity to critical hits.
